Dr. German Cheung is the Founder and Chairman of Metis Global Group and Athena Best Financial Group. Having been in the financial industry for over 20 years, Dr. German has decided to extend Metis’ innovative and affordable Trust plans to Singapore and thus in 2019, Metis Global (Singapore) Pte. Limited was founded. Dr. German is also the holder of several professional qualifications. He is a registered Director under Hong Kong’s Trust or Company Service Provider License, Cook Island's Financial Supervisory Commission, Monetary Authority of Singapore and registered Fund Manager in British Virgin Islands' Financial Services Commission. He is also a registered Investment Advisor under Japan Financial Service Agency, China Financial Planner, China Insurance Agent, and was the Responsible Officer of a licensed corporation under Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Chief Executive of a licensed corporation under The Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers and Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Authority and was the Director of a Securities Licensee under Labuan Financial Services Authority.
